Avatar: Fire and Ash - Virtual Production: Sequence Building Reel
Production work is produced under NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) and contractual agreements to protect client confidentiality. Based on my agreement with Lightstorm Entertainment, production templates are not permitted to be publicly shared. Therefore, this reel features final versions of sequences and shots only. The sequence team's final turnover shots closely match the final shots from a layout standpoint.
I contributed as a Sequence Artist on Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025), working on sequence building through scene assembly, performance editing, animation, and technical workflows within the virtual production pipeline. I was on the show for approximately three years under VFX Supervisor Richard Baneham and Sequence Supervisor Paolo Ziemba. This was one of the most complex and longest-running productions I have been involved with, featuring extensive on-set real-time support, a unique production pipeline, and highly technical workflows.

Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers - Previsualization Reel
Visualization work is produced under NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) to protect client confidentiality. This reel features both final and previs versions of sequences and shots I contributed to as a previs artist, highlighting my work in camera layout and animation for Chip ’n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022). I was on the show for over five months under visualization supervisor Tefft Smith. This was my first previsualization project involving extensive character animation work. Due to the Release of Footage Agreement, this reel is password-protected. To request the password, please email donkimviz@gmail.com.
